Making of Canon L Series 500mm F4L IS USM. Part 2 of 3 in the production of expensive camera gear. L series is Canon’s Premium lens line featuring fluorite lenses. IS refers to Image Stabilzation build into the lens, and USM refers to Ultrasonic Motor drive that makes focusing faster than older systems. Currently I’m using a Rebel XT, although I’m thinking of upgrading to an XTi or 5DMk2. This 500 with the New 5D would be a sweet combination.

Thanks for looking at my photos, All of these pictures were taken with the Canon Rebel XSi & Kit Lens. I edited the photos with Adobe Photoshop cs3 and Photo Explosion BUT 95% were done with photo explosion.. You don’t always have to have the best editor to get the best results. Thanks again!
An unboxing and setup of my Canon Rebel EOS T1i. This is my first DSLR Camera and I am really excited to take some great photos with it! Its a great camera and I would highly recommend it. I bought this camera for roughly $650.00 at Amazon.com. I also bought a Hoya Multi-Coated UV Filter for $20.00. I was debating between the Canon Rebel T1i and the Nikon D5000 and I am glad I chose the Canon. Stay tuned for my in-depth review on the Canon Rebel T1i in which I will go into the over all the features and my thoughts on the camera. I will also include some test / sample photos and some HD video footage. Thanks for watching and please subscribe for more HD Unboxings, Reviews, and Tutorials =)
I just bought a new Canon EOS Rebel T2i / 550D Digital SLR Camera on March 18th, 2010. I made a video of me opening the box and testing it out! (Filmed with Nikon D90) which is the first camera that came out with the ability to film in 720p HD Video. Visit: http://www.heavyhittas.com to see videos!
The Canon T2i is the new flagship of the EOS Rebel line, it brings professional EOS features into an easy to use, lightweight digital SLR that’s a joy to use. Featuring a class-leading 18.0 Megapixel CMOS Image Sensor and increased light sensitivity for low light photography, the EOS Rebel T2i also has an advanced HD Movie mode for gorgeous Full HD movies. Able to capture up to 3.7 frames per second, it’s ready to go the minute it’s picked up. Advanced Live View, a new wide-area screen, plus features like Canon’s brilliant Auto Lighting Optimizer and Highlight Tone features ensure brilliant photos and movies, easily. With some of the most advanced features of any digital SLR, it’s simply the best Rebel Canon has ever created.
Nikon D60 verses the Canon Rebel XS (Canon EOS 1000d). 10 points to compare and contrast the user-friendliness of each. This video looks at the differences in:
-changing the settings
-flash exp. comp.
-WB icons
-quietness of camera
-focal points
-exposure compensation
-holds in hand
-deleting photos
-f-number changes
-live view
There are more differences that I preferred in either the Canon or Nikon. This is the top 10, with 5 pros for the Canon and 5 for the Nikon.
EDIT:
Thanks to “joshthegreat666 ” for pointing out a confusing point in my video. Yes, exposure compensation can be changed in manual in both cameras, naturally. When I made this video, I was new to SLRs. The Nikon was obvious on how to use this feature and with the Canon it was a ‘hidden feature’, as I call it. One has to press the shutter button down halfway and than it is possible to see this.
